Happy New Year!
A colleague of mine surprised me this Christmas with this beautiful Palette. Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay teaming up to produce such a spectacular eyeshadow palette, truly genius - incorporating Gwen's edgy style and beauty.
The packaging is solid with a rocky style. Inside hosts a great sized mirror and 15 beautiful eyeshadows. The first two rows are definitely right up my street with a combination of smoky and neutral tones with a bit of bling in there for good measure. The bottom line is slightly riskier, I probably wouldn't use these but only down to that being personal taste. I am sure they would be fun to play about with.
The pigmentation of these shadows is lovely with minimal residue. As always with Urban Decay, these will not disappoint. I love the velvety texture and this Palette is certainly up there with my favourite Naked palettes. Gwen picked most of the shade names taking inspiration from her songs.
'Shades included: Blonde (pale beige w/pink iridescent shift), Bathwater (pale beige w/gold pearl), Skimp (pale nude satin), Steady (medium rose w/metallic gold shift), Punk (reddish brown matte), Baby (cool metallic rose), Anaheim (light taupe-brown matte), Stark (nude-pink matte), Zone (medium brown matte), Serious (smoky gray w/iridescent floating pearl), Pop (pale coral w/iridescent sparkle), Harajuku (metallic blue-pink w/iridescent micro-shimmer), Danger (deep metallic royal blue w/blue micro-sparkle), 1987 (bright metallic yellow-gold) and Blackout (blackest black matte). '
This UD & GS collaboration is limited edition so I suggest popping over to purchase one soon. The palette retails at £40 and is available on the Urban Decay website or the likes of Feel Unique
Perhaps you have tried this already, maybe Santa brought it for you too. I'd love to hear what you think?
My mum has just purchased this for me! Can't wait for it to arrive!!!
