Yves Rocher Eye Makeup Essentials

Yves Rocher, until I started blogging, was a brand that I had never heard of.  Since blogging, it is a brand that I have grown very fond of. A little while ago I was asked to review a selection of their makeup line.

I was very kindly sent a gorgeous makeup quad No. 01 'Gris Profond' this translates as 'Deep Grey' in English.  This quad is perfect for the ultimate smokey eye, including a gorgeous silver, two contrasting shades of grey and a black pan.  The pigment of all is stunning.   It can quite easily take your day makeup into night.

If you want your makeup to last, use a primer to get optimum results.  The same goes for your eyeshadow.  To get the best results use an eyelid primer.  Yves Rocher eyelid primer is perfect, the constancy is creamy but thin i.e. not gloopy.  Though the one I have is sample size it will last ages, you only need the tiniest amount.

The Yves Rocher Kohl crayon liner reminds me very much of the 'Bourjois version'.  I normally prefer to apply my eyeliner using a long handled brush because I am absolutely no use with anything fiddly, I am very clumsy.  This liner on first glance looks like a lipstick.  It is encased in similar packaging and this keeps it nice and tidy and gives you a steady grip on application.  The liner literally glides on.

'Volume Vertige' Mascara i.e. Lash Curler.  This mascara is an intense black, I really like the wand, it has a flexible head which helps get those hard to reach lashes.

Each one of these products, combined together are the ingredients of a perfect look.  Have you tried Yves Rocher makeup before?  I intend to use these beauties for a wedding I have coming up on the 24th and will be posting about the look soon.
