Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover

I don't know about you, but removing my makeup at the end of the day is always a chore at the best of times, even worse if you are travelling and want a fresh up. However, recently I came across Urban Decay's Meltdown Makeup Remover.   This little power tool is perfect when you are at home or on the go.

After a long flight, I usually want to re do my make up.   'Meltdown Make up' is great.  This handbag ready, lightweight creamy gel breaks down your makeup fast but gently.   No fuss, no mess - and no rinsing!  Makeup wipes can leave your face feeling a little greasy but this product doesn't.

You can purchase this directly from Urban Decay but is available online from the likes of Feel Unique, Beauty Bay and House of Fraser and will cost you a respectable £18.

Charlotte Tilbury K.i.s.s.i.n.g Lipstick - Bitch Perfect Giveaway

Kissing Lipstick

I treated myself to this Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the shade 'Bitch Perfect' whilst visiting in Birmingham last month.  This lipstick is incredibly moisturising and the colour is long lasting.  I thought I would treat one of my readers to its beauty too.

Glossybox May

Glossybox May
I am really impressed with Glossy Box May.  I am particularly intrigued by the 'Towel Off' Shampoo Foam.  I am used to Dry Shampoos but this product has really captured my attention.  You apparently pump the foam in your hand massage it into your hair and use a Towel to work it through.  It smells divine and I can't wait to give it a go tomorrow.

Soap & Glory - 'One heck of a BLOT'

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot

Over the past year or so, I have much preferred to wear less powder.  I have found though, since returning to an office environment, whether it has something to do with the air conditioning and lack of fresh air by afternoon, the oils are oozing from my pores - eurgh, exactly!

Origins Clear Improvements Charcoal Mask

Everyone deserves a clear skin, it's just some of us have to try a little harder than others.  Although I cleanse daily, I have neglected my skin lately due to being a little run down and a little stressed out.  Haven't exfoliated or anything in ages.  I decided enough was enough and last night I took half and hour out for some 'me time'.

Yves Rocher Eye Makeup Essentials

Yves Rocher, until I started blogging, was a brand that I had never heard of.  Since blogging, it is a brand that I have grown very fond of. A little while ago I was asked to review a selection of their makeup line.

*new* Clarins Everlasting Foundation+

Clarins Everlasting Foundation+

Think I may have just found my perfect Foundation*.  Following on from Clarins Everlasting Foundation the brand have just released Everlasting Foundation + .  This rejuvenated formula is said to give you 18 hours of wear.

I get up of a morning at 6 and my makeup goes on.  I return from work around 7 pm equaling 13 hours of wear and although not perfect, due to the stuffiness of office life, the foundation still looks pretty good.

Ivory is my perfect shade.  With a creamy texture, the formula isn't too heavy.  I never have the feeling of being 'caked' that other brands sometimes leave you feeling.

People have asked me about the coverage - it is perfect for all.  This is a build able foundation, wear as much or as little as you need.  Pair this with Clarins Beauty Flash Balm for the perfect dewy skin.

I like the glass packaging with the  gold lid and especially the pump head.  Keeps mess to a minimum.

If you are looking to change your foundation seriously give this one a thought.  Ask your local counter for a sample.  I don't think you will be disappointed.  Everlasting Foundation + also contains and SPF15 which ideal as Spring/Summer approaches.

Makeup Revolution - Flawless Matte & Beyond Flawless Palettes

I love a bright lipstick but when it comes to eyeshadows I do tend to stick with the safer, neutral shades..    Saying this, who says neutral is boring?  It definitely isn't, the proof is in the palette.  These gorgeous new palettes from Makeup Revolution* are the epitome of neutral beauty.  I think the photos speak for themselves.

MAC Haul

Yesterday, I decided to take myself off into town for a browse around the shops.  Could not physically walk past MAC without going in. As I strolled through the doors of impending beauty, I was repeating the words 'just looking, maybe swatching' over again in my head.  Alas majorly failed and ended up picking up these little pretties.

Jo Malone Cologne

Jo Malone London Empties

Absolutely gutted my two Jo Malone Cologne's are empty, done, finished.   I'd normally go out and replace my perfumes when they were done but unfortunately the price tag of these lovelies means I'll have to save up my rainy day fund a bit longer.

I ❤️ Makeup - You're Gorgeous Palette Review

you're gorgeous palette

Just before Christmas, I did a little Makeup Revolution haul for myself, along with stocking fillers for family.  At the time, if you spent over £25 you received a very generous selection of free gifts.  One of the gifts you received was this 'You're Gorgeous Palette' from their sister brand I ❤️ Makeup.

YSL Fusion Ink Foundation

YSL Fusion Ink Foundation

The first time I heard of the YSL Fusion Ink Foundation was when my sister came over for coffee one Saturday morning, I thought that her skin looked absolutely flawless.  I asked what she was wearing and she told me it was the new YSL Foundation - 'Fusion Ink'.  It looked amazing on her.    I had been using the YSL Touche Éclat foundation on and off for a couple of years but was starting to get a little bored of it.

Miss Dior Eau De Parfum

Miss Dior Eau De Parfum

I received Miss Dior Eau De Parfum in my stocking this year and is fast becoming my favourite scent.  I'm terrible at describing smells but trust me when I say that this is gorgeous.
'an audacious chypre with a citrusy freshness and a jasmine heart. Sprinkled with fruity notes and underscored by the elegance of patchouli, this chic and daring fragrance is a new classic.
I had been wanting to own this for a while and definitely scoosh it every time I pass through any department store.  Even cheekily asking for samples from the counters.  I Do  the same with foundations.  Nice trick if you are feeling the 'pinch'.

When I wrote my 30 before 30 list in 2013 one of my items was to find a signature scent.  I think I have finally found it.

Beautiful IPhone Cover by Charles & Wynn

Charles & Wynn Designs
I just had to show you all my new IPhone 6+ cover, I had been looking for the right one for a long time now but the 6+ covers aren't so popular at the moment.   However, when on Twitter the other day, I poked my nose into a conversation and found out that the lovely Charlotte from 'Ever in May' has a gorgeous Etsy shop - Charles & Wynn  which has some absolutely beautiful hand made designs at reasonable prices. If you are looking for something sweet, check our her store here - Charles & Wynn.

I placed my order yesterday lunchtime and it was with me this morning.  Thanks so much.

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator & Hot Cloth Cleanser - Winter Kisses

My skin is so temperamental, it is worse than a naughty toddler.  It gets particularly worse during the Winter months. More recently because I have been feeling extremely run down, it has had several nasty break outs.  I use Quinoderm, which is medicated cream to treat the outbreaks but because it contains Benzoyl Peroxide (which is excellent for the treatment of acne), it means it dries your skin out something terrible.
Liz Earle Skin Care

Luckily, I have two little superheroes in my collection of skin care products from the amazing brand Liz Earle.
