Party Palettes #1 - Lancôme Hypnôse Star Eyes - Brun Adoré

With the party season fast approaching, the time has come to update our party wardrobe.  Lets not forget to treat our eyes to some new pretty eyeshadows to make us twinkle all night.  The first in my mini series of 'Party Palettes' is this little beauty by Lancôme - Hypnôse Star Eyes - Brun Adoré.

Lancôme Hypnôse Star Eyes - Brun Adoré

The Hypnôse Star and Drama palettes are really beautiful.  The Star palettes are shimmery whist the Drama palettes include a matte shade.

I like quite neutral colours for my eye makeup I don't really experiment with colour that often because I know what suits me. Neutral doesn't have to be boring and Brun Adoré proves this.

Five gorgeous shimmery shades that have lovely pigmentation and crumbly residue is minimal.    Each shade complimenting the other beautifully.  The darkest shade makes for a wonderful shimmery eyeliner when mixed with some water.

This sleek little beauty comes with two applicators and a little mirror that fits neatly into any clutch sized handbag - for those late night touch ups.  Use a primer before hand to ensure the longevity of your eye makeup.

The Lancôme palettes each come with mini tutorials which I love following.  They help you create the ideal smokey eye.  I have worn this palette on a couple of occasions now since purchasing and I have received some lovely compliments on my eye makeup.  Definitely one for your stockings this year.

There are five different colour collections in each range - I really want to get my hands on 'Vert Mystère' which has some minty shades and is part of theDrama palette selection.

The Lancôme Hypnôse Star & Drama palettes will cost you £37 and are available from all Boots Stores along with online retailers such as Feel Unique.com

  1. I love the name 'star drama', it totally looks like the exact palette needed to recreate some Veronica Lake-esque swagger.

    Bad sentence, but still.

  9. Now this is beautiful and has gave me a nice idea for my mom for Christmas. She really likes Lancome eye shadows and has mentioned about picking up some in just the last few months, these are the types of colours she would choose.
