Mid September already. Can't believe it. Well, I suppose I have been missing in action this month. September has brought a new job and has seen another best friends wedding. My friends Kelsie and Jonny had a 1940s meets Festival themed wedding, Kelsie being a huge fan of anything vintage and their mutual love of music and festivals.
When Kelsie first chose our dresses, make up and hair I was so sceptical. The dresses are so quirky and were by Hell Bunny Clothing. I really didn't think I would suit Victory Rolls, however, as usual I was proved wrong and I think the look was completely stunning. The entire look came together so perfectly and matched perfectly with the Bride who was beautiful.
Our hair and make up was done by 'Miss Dixiebelle Vintage Hair and Beauty Parlour' - As the name suggests, these ladies specialise in vintage hair and makeup and they are so brilliantly talented at it. Miss Dixiebelle's won the National Vintage awards this year. They are brilliant. As well as having their salon in Edinburgh, I think they also have a mobile service in Glasgow and I could not recommend them enough for a wedding or that special occasion.
