July Favourites 2014

Smashbox, Primer, Chanel, Powder, Bourjois, Apocalips, Body Shop, Dior, BB Cream
Here are my July Favourites, some old, some new, some borrowed and... some pink.

Diorskin Nude BB Cream '002'

Smashbox Photofinish Primer
By far the best foundation primer I have ever tried - if you can recommend a better one, or one that  comes close, please leave me your recommendations.

Chanel Pressed Powder
Borrowed this from my sister, a while ago. It's safe to say it is now mine.  It is great to use with a  BB Cream because they are both very light.  Ideal for the hotter months.  I personally wouldn't use this on a night out as a heavier coverage for evening makeup would be more sufficient.

Bourjois 1Seconde Volume Mascara
This is fairly new to me, I have raved about it so many times.  I use it daily.

Rimmel Apocalips - 'Nova'
I bought 'Nova' last year and it is the perfect balance for day or night.  I love it.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Gel Liner - Brown
I love this liner, I apply it with a winged eyeliner brush for the perfect 'flick'.

Benefit Watts Up
I use this everyday it is a soft focus highlighter that leave a gorgeous glow.

Body Shop Colour Crush Eyeshadow - 'Berry Cute'
The colour crush shadows from the Body Shop are gorgeous.  Berry Cute is a shimmery pink. Lovely for a sunny day.

Body Shope Eau de Toilette - Raspberry
Love Love Love Love Love... you get the picture.

Pearl Shimmer Eyeshadow/Highlighter
Lastly, I received this Pearly coloured eyeshadow in a BirchBox donkeys ago.  I use it every day to either finish off my eyeshadow or apply it on the brow and cheek bones to highlight.  The back of it is all faded and I can't make out the brand. Really frustrating as I would definitely buy this.  The pigmentation is gorgeous.  I'll be gutted when it is finished - if you recognise this - please let me know xx

  11. I'm a little late on this one, since I only discovered your blog today, and you might have already found out where that eye shadow is from, but it looks alot like the Emite Makeup eye shadows! It's a Swedish brand and you kan find them here if you want to take a look: http://www.emitemakeup.com/eye-shadows

The site is in Swedish (well, most of it), but you might be able to find the one you're looking for! Good luck!
