Facial Yoga, fact or fiction. I remember the days of childhood when we'd all make funny faces and our mother's would say 'if the wind changes your face will stay like that'. I actually believed this.
However, being a little more mature at the grand old age of 30, I'm beginning to panic that the jowls are setting in and the chins are doubling. I read up on a couple of facial exercises online and have been doing them religiously. I have been oohing, ah'ing and x'ing so much, that my 7 year old had to ask 'what on earth are you doing mum'? Just doing my face exercises lovely. To which he replied 'what next'?
I sit and 'O' to myself, so enthusiastically, 10sx - a minute break - 5 reps To do this vent your lips in an 'O' shape and blow out.

Wow, what an amazing Saturday I had. I'm sure I have mentioned my health kick I started a few months back? Well, I decided I needed challenges to help me stay mentally motivated. One night I typed into google - local 5k races and the next thing I know I am signing myself and my friend Sami up for 'Run Balmoral 2014'. Two of my other friends, both Fiona's, had mentioned they were partaking so it sparked my interest.

I have been off the radar due to unforeseen circumstances lately, however, I am officially back to blogging after 4 months of almost no activity. To mark my return to blogging, I'm giving away to one reader this stunning palette. With all the hype surrounding the Naked 3 Palette, I think a lot of us, including myself, have forgotten the beauty of the original 'Naked Palette'. Let us rediscover it's beauty.

I never used to suffer from acne but since having my children, I seem to periodically be riddled with it. It was becoming very sore and blotchy - very disheartening so bit the bullet and took myself off to see my GP. Alas, there is something that could be done. Apparently mine is due to the hormonal changes my body has gone through over the years and the Doctor prescribed this cream to me - Quinoderm 5, which is completely designed to treat acne. I used to swear by Sudocrem but this is the real Mccoy.

Laurens way tan is absolutely gorgeous and I can highly recommend the new 'Darker than Dark' solution which leaves your skin looking gorgeously golden. You simply spray the tan directly on to your skin, or the way I prefer to do it - directly onto a mitt, before buffing it into the skin. The results are really pretty - golden legs, time to dig those skirts out.
Laurens Way are kindly giving away a Hamper full of Laurens Way Treats

Spring is here...
How do you move on from Winter? Here are some ideas.
Keep your skin looking fresh and healthy with a weekly exfoliation. I like to use the Body Shop Pink Grapefruit body scrub on my body and the Exfoliator Cleanser from their Seaweed range. This gives your skin a weekly pick me up and a great start to the weekend.
Think about your lipstick, let us brighten up our faces with a pretty pink or coral. I am currently loving my MAC 'Candy Yum Yum'. It makes me feel happy.
Gut your wardrobe! Be ruthless, if you haven't looked at it in 6 months get rid of it. Bag it up and donate it to your local Oxfam. Someone will get the benefit from it - also gives you an excuse to go shopping!

Some of you may be aware that this year I am setting myself a challenge to partake in as many 5Ks as I can muster. My first ever race will take part at Balmoral Castle on the 26th of April with the second shortly following on 11th May.
The first charity I'm running for is the children's cancer charity - CLIC Sargent. I chose CLIC Sargent because as a mum, the thought of this terrible disease breaks my heart. I can only but imagine what families going through this terrible ordeal must be feeling. Running a 5k is nothing compared to this.
I'd be grateful of any donation you could muster and your support means a lot. If you would like to sponsor 'Wobbly Bits' this is the link www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/wobblybits
