Lovely Scrubbly Treats from Joules

Just before Christmas I was sent some lovely pamper treats from the people who represent Joules, and before that time, I thought, Joules only did clothing - how wrong was I?  I've since learnt that Joules also stock a huge range of homeware, accessories, bath & body treats and even gadgety type covers.  Really, really pretty.

The 'Lovely Scrubbly' Bath Scrub came in a gift set of 3 called 'Terrific Treats' and they really were.  So much so, my little sister pinched the other two products - Sensational Skin which was a Body Soufflé and Superbly Smooth - a body butter.  However, Kristy kindly took a couple of pictures and sent me a little review of her own which will follow.

Deborah Milano Euphoric Shine Lipgloss Review & Cheeky Bonus

Deborah Milano Euphoric Shine Lipgloss
The lovely people over at Deborah Milano UK very kindly sent me some of their beautiful Euphoric Shine lipgloss and 24 Ore Euphoric Shine lip glosses for me to try.  I have to say I was completely blown away with their generosity.  Deborah Milano UK were one of my 'new found' brands of 2013 and a definite favourite as we begin 2014. I find their products to be of high quality and very reasonably priced.

MAC Lipstick Lust

To be honest, when buying lipsticks, I usually turn to MAC.  My collection has definitely grown substantially since I began blogging in August 2012.

Many of you will know by now that my signature colour is definitely a red, of any shade.    This season, I thought it was time to try a change and I opened myself up to purples and pinks more.  Most recently 'Flat out Fabulous' and 'Plumful', which are perfect examples of a beautiful purple lipstick.

The Reds in my collection include, Ruby Woo, RiRi Woo, Relentlessly Red, Lady Bug and Brave, to name but a few.

Since Lipstick is my favourite thing, I've put together for you 6 of my current MAC Lipstick Lusts:

Mini MAC Splurge

Hush, Retrospek, Plumful, Mac227

I finally made it into our first ever MAC Store in Aberdeen.  It opened in November and I've walked past it a couple of times but it has always been absolutely mobbed.  Saturday when I was in, it was relatively quiet so I took the opportunity to nip in, as I'm sure It's a rare occurrence - people must have been lunching.

Lily Lolo Smoky Rose Mineral Eye Shadow Quad

Happy New Year!  I was so busy the last months of 2013, I feel I neglected the blog a little bit.  Now the madness has past, I feel I can finally get back into it.  I hope I've not been completely forgotten about ❤

I'm kicking off 2014 with this gorgeous Smoky Rose Eyeshadow Quad from Lily Lolo*

Lily Lolo were one of my favourite brands of last year and I'm really excited to try more of their products in 2014.

This Smoky Rose eyeshadow quad was, without a doubt, my favourite Autumn/Winter eyeshadowand It has been with me everywhere.  Was a staple go to in New York and saw me right through the party season.  Whether you want to go for the subtle look or the wow factor this quad is for you.

Each gorgeous shade oozes sophistication and are not too overpowering.  The colours look deep but they aren't at all overwhelming on application.  In fact, they are very build able so you can go as light or dark as you desire.

The eyeshadow shades aren't specifically named so this is how I would describe them:

White/Cream has the tiniest hint of shimmer and is also excellent to use as a highlighter.
Rose - gives a gorgeous kiss of colour
The lighter of the two dark shades I would describe as a truffle brown, it is beautiful.
The dark brown is your perfect espresso.

Another point I must add about this eyeshadow quad is that it has minimal residue which is ideal if you have cream carpets in you dressing area, no mess, no fuss.

The Lily Lolo packaging is so elegant, I just love it.  This compact comes with a decent sized mirror which is perfect for touch ups whilst on the go.  What do you think of this quad?  Do you have it yet or are you still a Lily Lolo Virgin?

Ps this is currently reduced from £18.00 to £12.00 over at Lily Lolo
