A brand that I am really loving at the moment, though perhaps unfamiliar to some is Deborah Milano. The leading Italian Cosmetics brand have recently launched Deborah Milano here in the UK. They specialise in make up and skin care at really attractive prices. I own a couple of their lipsticks already which I love and you can read here (they remind me of the Revlon Lip Butters) so, when I was asked if I would like to pick another product, of my choice, I jumped at the chance.
I chose an item from their 24Ore range - 24Ore Velvet Eyeshadow shade #12
These lovely eyeshadows come neatly packaged in individual compacts with the Deborah Milano logo not only on the front but also beautifully embossed onto the shadow itself. I don't so much care for the applicator as it is very tiny but this is the only negative - I prefer to use my own brushes anyway.
This is shade #12, you can make up your own mind what colour you would describe it as but I am going to say a 'rusty pink'. It is so beautifully sleek and very elegant to wear. It isn't too overpowering but is still richly pigmented with the tiniest hint of shimmer.
With it's velvety texture and elegant design this eyeshadow oozes sophistication. The wet to dry formula is amazing, when worn dry you get a subtle, natural finish but when worn wet it leaves a subtle metallic sheen. This particular shade is perfect for either day or night. I have been using it lately for daywear, in fact it has become a staple part of my daily routine. There are 18 different shades in this range and come priced at a very reasonable £5.50 each. For the price you pay you are getting a very attractive product that has minimal fall out and outstanding staying power, I get a good 5 hours wear out of this -when worn with an eyeshadow primer. It is brilliant because it doesn't crease when wet either. I am looking forward to treating myself to some of the other shades in this range as I love experimenting with different colours.
