YSL Top Secret BB Cream Review - Part 2.

YSL BB Cream
I first reviewed this product back in June, and I thought that it deserved a little update.  This has been my most used summer product of 2013.  After reading a lot of the hype around the Dior BB Cream, I went out and bought it, yes it is great however, YSL Top Secrets is still better.

I wore this in Ibiza everyday it contains a factor 25 so it was just brilliant and it gave me the utmost skin confidence, covered all my blemishes.  I love this product so much that I actually feel myself reaching out for this instead of my usual foundation.    If you missed my previous review, I have added it below.

Let me firstly start by saying that this cream is very expensive, retailing at £38.00 per 40ml tube, definitely the top end of what many would be willing to spend on a BB Cream.  However, if you can afford to splurge out and treat yourself, this is definitely the cream to go for.  I have had mine for quite a while now so apologise that some of the writing on the packaging has started to fade.

As the name quite clearly suggests - this is an all-in-one cream, meaning it is multi-purpose. YSL BB cream can be used to colour correct, moisturise, can be used before foundation or as a foundation.

I personally adore the YSL Touche Éclat Foundation and now have found a place in my heart for the BB Cream.  The BB Cream is a lot lighter than the foundation which is ideal for these sunny days we have been having - albeit rare in Scotland. It will give you a light to medium coverage (as it is build able) compared to the foundation which would probably give you  more of a med/full coverage.

The YSL BB Cream will disguise imperfections such as redness and give you a radiant glow. This can be used with a setting powder if you prefer but I quite like it on it's own as I personally prefer more of a dewy look.

In the picture above I am wearing the YSL BB Cream, concealer, blusher, highlighter, eyeshadow, lipstick and mascara.  If I didn't know better I'd say it looked like I was wearing foundation, when in fact I'm not - It is the power of the YSL BB Cream alone.

This feels so much better than a foundation for during the nicer weather, I feel it adapts so much better to the weather than my normal foundation. It contains SPF25 which is a real bonus.

YSL BB Cream is suitable for all skin types.  It comes in 3 different shades, Clear, Medium & Dark.  The shade I am wearing is Clear so if you are of a paler complexion I would go for this - and it is non orange ;-)

What is your favourite BB Cream? - By the way I must add that I was not a BB lover before trying this out.
