Ibiza 2013

Hola lovelies.  I have just returned from relaxing family break in Ibiza and it was wonderful.  I'd like to thank all of the Guest Bloggers that kept 'A Scottish Lass' ticking over in my absence and I hope you enjoyed reading their posts as much as I did.

We were in Ibiza for 11 nights - I thought that it may be a bit too long but it was just perfect.  7 nights is normally too rushed as you need a few days to settle in before you can truly relax.  We stayed at the Sirenis Club Aura Hotel just outside San Antonio and I couldn't have asked for anywhere better.  The location was beautiful and the sunsets - magnificent.  I thought i'd share with you some of my favourite snaps of the holiday.
We visited a Hippy Market - I was in my element and treated myself to some gorgeous trinkets for bargain prices. While we were there the Market was celebrating its 40th Anniversary so there was a lot of entertainment going on was a great day out.
I got a scare when the 'statue' moved, I obviously had one too many Corona that day as I was oblivious until that point that it was a man sprayed silver - well, scream - not the word.
I have been tempted to get a tattoo for a while so I tried out a Henna design, It was supposed to last 3 weeks but alas, a week on and it has completely gone! Never mind..
As previously mentioned the Ibiza Sunsets were amazing.  I heard the Sunrises were pretty spectacular too, however, it was safe to say I didn't witness any of those.
Hubby and I are partial to the odd cocktail - but for €9 per cocktail we didn't hang around in there very long.   Instead we found a quaint local bar selling litre jugs of sangria for only €8.... hic!!
The Colada Girl and Daiquiri Boy.
One too many!
The view from our hotel room was lovely - I frequently sat out side watching the yachts sail by, talking of Yachts - Naomi Campbell was visiting the island when I was there - her Yacht was sleek silver - beautiful!
All in all a great time had by all.  But it is always good to be home - Cheers!

  14. We must have been there at the same time! Ibiza is literally my favourite place in the whole world and it would be a dream come true to live there one day! People always associate it with the nightlife/clubs (which I for one love but know it's not everyone's cup of tea), but the Island itself is just so beautiful!

    Lovely post and lovely pics!
