L-R// Tako, Midori, Afterparty & Dollipop

'Sugarpill Cosmetics is a cruelty-free line of vibrant, richly pigmented cosmetics for animal lovers and color fiends'

I have been looking at Sugarpill cosmetics for a while now and I finally treated myself to one of their palettes.  This is the first piece of Sugarpill in my collection.   I have a couple of events coming up shortly and i'm wearing black dresses so thought I would  try spicing my make up a bit with a splash of colour.  I have been enjoying playing about with different colours lately.  I am normally a neutrals sort of girl whether it be day or night.

The Sugarpill Addicted to Pretty palette in 'Sweet Heart' is the home to 4 extremely pigmented gorgeous candy coloured shades, Tako, Midori, Dollipop and Afterparty.  I have enjoyed experimenting with the colours and adore each shade they are so vibrant and there isn't a lot of irritating powdery residue.  The quality of this palette is that of Urban Decay and Lime Crime, these brands have a lot in common in terms of their flamboyancy in their lip and eye colours.  I love brands that stand out.    I may not necessarily be as outrageous with colours for daily wear like my photos above but would certainly use them individually and tone them down a bit, however for evenings it will be fun to let them shine.

The packaging is absolutely stunning and really stands out.  The palette comes with a good sized mirror too which is always a bonus.

I am dying to try the other palettes in the 'Addicted to Pretty' range - Burning Heart & Heart Breaker.

You can purchase this palette at Cocktail Cosmetics here.

What do you think of this palette?  Do you own any Sugarpill products?

    1. Hi Maddy, they can be totally toned down and mixed with other shades so you can be as bold or not as you like xx

  2. I have this and love it but it does take a lot of bravery to wear these colours on a daily basis, I usually keep them for my 'out there' looks but I like what you did with Dollipop and Afterparty!

  9. I love this palette and the make up look stunning on you :D

Burning Heart is my favourite of the two, (I'm yet to get Heart breaker) the purple is amazing for my eyebrows (I have purple hair), and I've never seen a yellow that pigmented before or a red that actually comes out as red as it looks in the pan.

I definitely need to buy Heart Breaker to add to my collection. :)
