I picked up Soap & Glory 'Bright here, Bright Now' around a fortnight ago. Being a fan of Soap & Glory products I thought this looked interesting so added it to my shopping basket.
The first thing that attracted me to this product was the packaging, I can't quite put my foot on it but it just sang 'try me'. Secondly, 'instant radiance energy balm' well, we could all be doing with a bit of that!
Directions for use - Apply a generous measure of onto clean skin (use it like a moisturiser or mix it into makeup)
It is designed to give 'dull skin dazzle' and it has a creamy consistency. There is lluminator through it which does give your skin a healthy glow, with aloe vera, apricot kernel oil and a face firming active. However, there is just something that isn't working for me, I find it quite oily and it becomes very tacky when used as a moisturiser.
I actually thought of one comparison - if you have ever tried the famous 'Clarins Beauty Balm' (which I personally love), you will be aware that you are only meant to use a tiny bit of this then apply your makeup almost immediately before it turns tacky. I had hoped 'Bright here Bright Now' would be a less expensive dupe for the Clarins Beauty Balm, but it is not as good unfortunately.
Perhaps if I use it in the way I do with the Clarins Beauty Balm it will work better for me.
A fellow Blogger, on Instagram this morning, suggested that I blended it into my foundation, from her experience it gave a nice dewy finish.
Have you tried this product before? I don't like to give up on things easily, I shall persevere though I won't be repurchasing this when it is finished. This is only my opinion, there are people out there raving about it so don't let me put you off too much :-)

May just be my skin, it likes to be a pain in the bum xx
DeleteShame it didn't quite live up to the Clarins BB, but still, I'm sure you'll find a way to incorporate into some looks. I'm still looking for products that give me the perfect 'glow'!
