Favourite Products to pamper your Fingers and Toes

I'm delighted to bring you the lovely Angelica from 'One Little Vice'.  Angelica is a 20 year old English Literature student in her 3rd year and has a love of all things beauty.  Another of my favourite bed time reads, so please do pop over and visit One Little Vice after.  If you don't you will be missing out on a truly stunning beauty blog.

Hi there! I’m Angelica and I write over at One Little Vice. Laura has been kind enough to let me do a guest post and today I thought I'd share the products that I’m currently pampering my fingers and toes with.

Whether it be preparing myself for summer or just surviving winter, even my hands and toes need some attention. I know it probably doesn’t make the most sense but I always start with my hands. I've actually been skipping nail varnish on my fingernails lately (my nails have been in need of a break) but I've been paying extra attention to keeping my skin and cuticles looking soft and healthy. I start off by exfoliating my hands with L'Occitane's Almond Delicious Paste. I apply a small amount to each hand and gently rub it in circles until most of the past has been absorbed into my skin. I then quickly rinse the exfoliating almond particles off my skin and dry my hands. Once my hands are completely dry, I apply a healthy dose of L'Occitane's Hand Cream. Right now I'm using their Honey Hand Cream but I am partial to all of L'Occitane's hand creams, I actually keep their Almond Hand Cream in my inner coat pocket for on the go as it is a lot thinner than the honey variety and absorbs more quickly. I finish off my hands by applying a small amount of Reverence de Bastien's Nail Unguent onto each of my cuticles and then gently massage it into my cuticles and nails. I know that even if I only do this routine once a week it makes all the difference to the look and feel of my hands!

I know people aren't as keen to hearing about feet and toes, so I'll be brief! I usually exfoliate my feet when I do all over body exfoliation in the shower so I skip this step during my weekly pamper session and move straight onto moistuisation. My current choice is Dirty Work's Best Foot Forward Foot Butter. It's a fantastic product and (unlike my hand pampering picks) is super affordable. I've tried Soap and Glory's Heel Genius but I've decided that I prefer this, so if that's your normal choice I'd recommend giving this one a try. I am still painting my toe nails and I usually choose bright pastels which look super pretty but won't wash my skin out. Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine nail paints are gorgeous and this blue shade, Blueberry, is a favourite of mine right now. I usually use Sally Hansen's Fast Dry Base Coat and Shiny Top Coat and I find that they really do help my nail polish to last very well!

This concludes my current pampering routine! I hope you enjoyed it :)
