AKA Cosmetics Review*

Recently, I was extremely lucky to receive this selection of A.K.A goodies to try on behalf of Beauty Chamber.

For those of you who are not familiar with Beauty Chamber they are an online store with a massive selection of products including ranges such as, Butter London, Seche, Essie to name but a few.  I already have a huge wish list and longing for payday to around again.  Be sure to check them out, some really nice pieces to add to your collection.

AKA Lip Pencil £5.50
AKA Lip Stick £7.50
AKA Eye Shadow Duo £7.00
AKA are a British makeup brand which were recently established in 2011.  'This solid range is designed for covering your basic requirements yet with a smothering of some fun colours to set you out from the crowd'

Eye Shadow Duo - Antique Earth

I asked to be sent a neutral colour and 'Antique Earth' is ideal for my everyday needs, I use the cream shade all over my eyelid and I blend in the sandy pink into my socket for a very natural look.  The pictures do not do the swatches must justice here but that is down to bad lighting.  They are both highly pigmented.  This duo is so fresh. The packaging is adorable and I particularly like the embossing over the powder.

6 Amazing Shades, I plan on buying Cafe Latte as soon as I can and Black Russian would make for a gorgeous smokey eye.
AKA Lip Pencil Red

This lovely lip pencil in is a perfect edition to any Ladies makeup bag, especially if the Lady in question is a lover of a red lipstick.

This comes in nude, red and pink - a colour for all.

AKA Slim Line Lip Stick - Bewitch

Saving the best for last, this AKA Lip Stick in the shade 'Bewitch' is an absolutely stunning bright purply pink shade which was quite a surprise on application as the colour on the stick is a very deep red.  Even though the colour was brighter than expected I still really loved it.

The staying power is magic.  I lasts you 3-4 hours even after drinking a beverage, I was extremely impressed.  Ideal for your handbag.   Silky on application and utterly moisturising - I am very happy with this.

This little joy comes in 12 stunning colours.  As mentioned above I am wearing Bewitch but I would say the actual colour that appeared on my lips was closer to 'Temptress'.

Perhaps lip gloss is more your thing?  Not too worry, Beauty Chamber also stock AKA gloss in 6 shades.

I really enjoyed trying out these products.  I had never heard of AKA before now and I will definitely be repurchasing in the future.

AKA Cosmetics also sell Mascara, Blusher, Eyeliner, Eye Pencils and Eye Shadow Quads which are definitely worth a look too.

Have you tried AKA Cosmetics before?  What did you think?
