Too Faced Matte Eye would make a perfect edition to your make up bag. There are no shimmery colours here.
The packaging is absolutely beautiful and the Matte Eye collection contains 3 large base shadows and 6 further smaller eyeshadow shades.
Each eye shadow in the matte eye collection has a velvety texture and are extremely soft and they blend together really well. This set comes with step by step lesson cards to help you create different looks with each row of the colours available, of course you don't need to follow these, you can have a play around and create your own style but they are there as a structure for you to follow.
For the perfect Day look:- 'Sweep Tufted Suede from brow to lashes, press Chinchilla on to the lid and around the tear duct and to finish use Coffee Bean to line upper & Lower lash lines. Smudge into a smokey line.
|Unfortunately the lighting was quite bad and you can't really make out Fresh linen or Velveteen Bunny but Fresh Linen is white and Velveteen Bunny is white with a hint of pink|
I adore each of the colours in this palette and they are definitely not too powdery. I would say that it is a pity you don't get an applicator with it but that is my only negative.
You can purchase this palette in your local Boots or online for £26.00 and I would definitely recommend priming your eyelid before hand to have longer lasting wear, I can also recommend their Shadow Insurance Primer, i'm currently out of it but it is as good as the Urban Decay version.
I am also dying to try their 'Neutral at Night' palette, it is definitely on top of the wish list.
