Blush Collection

Today I am showing you what I consider to be my top 5 blushes out of my blusher collection.

Believe it or not, It was quite a difficult decision as I am a bit blush daft and have many. So after some serious consideration I decided on my top favourite to date.

Bobbi Brown

This Bobbi Brown blush is a very rich shade of pink with the tinniest speckles of shimmer which isn't too overpowering, it just gives a soft glow to the blush.  This shade is 'Peony Pink'.  I go through phases of wearing this everyday ignoring the rest because it is that pretty.  One thing i'd say is be careful not to put too much on your brush as it is so pigmented you only need a dust or you will end up looking like a clown.

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush

This blush is beautifully packaged,  the heart motifs in different shades of pink are so adorable.  This particular blush is from the Physicians Formula 'Happy Booster' range it is said to contain natural plant extracts 'which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins', basically when you wear this you should feel happier.  I'm not convinced this is true however, I do feel good when I wear it, probably because somewhere at the back of my mind I'm thinking be happy!  I also have the lipstick in happy booster to match so I half expect to bounce down the street.

The range of tones and highlighter give your cheeks a radiant glow, it is not too heavy.  This is an American brand but I managed to find a website which will deliver it to the UK here , this product costs £14.95 and well worth it.

Glossybox Blush

I received this blusher in my December's Glossybox and I was quite surprised at the quality of it.  I'm not sure where you would buy this but it is in the shade 'Rosewood' and i'd say is more of a purple shade than a pink.  I find it is quite nice to blend in with a little highlighting powder on a night out.

Fashionista

This Fashionista blush is one of the 3 options in the merged baked blush range by Fashionista, New York, Milan and London.  This is the shade 'London' this is a coral tone with pinky veins this gives a lovely everyday look to your cheeks.  It is very build-able on application as it isn't overly powerful. I do find that I need to dab the brush back in and add a little more.  I find that this is actually better than having a major blush accident.  You can buy this at Superdrug for only £4.  They also do a gorgeous baked bronzer too!

NARS - Famous Orgasm

I lusted after the NARS Orgasm blush for absolutely ages and I finally treated my self to it in December with some Christmas vouchers.

This stunning peachy pink shade is gorgeous and flawlessly dresses your cheekbones.  It is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way.

When I first went to buy this I actually expected to receive a slightly bigger compact as the pictures on the NARS website are a little deceiving so I was a little disappointed by the size.  Nevertheless I am really happy that I bought it.

If I had to put these in an order I would say
1. NARS
2. BOBBI
3. FASHIONISTA
4. HAPPY BOOSTER
5. GLOSSYBOX

But this is subject to change - daily :-)

  9. I was very pleasantly surprised with the Glossybox blush, I thought it'd be a bit pathetic in terms of pigmentation but it's now one of my favourites out of my 30+ blushes, which is saying something!

I'd love to try the Happy Booster one x
