Unplanned benefit Haul :-)

I have been really really naughty!

Yesterday, I went into town to buy birthday presents for my son,  (which I did get).  I may have got slightly distracted, one or two times...  :-)

I accidentally tripped onto the seat at the benefit counter, accidentally got a make over - then I bought accidentally bought a few items...

Wooopsies

benefit Lip Plump
I went on a hunt for a 'Lipcote' alternative yesterday after tweeting with Sophia Ford, Sophia was asking if anyone had ever heard of anything other than Lipcote to seal your lipstick.   I happened to be in town anyway, so decided to investigate (technically this makes this haul courtesy of Sophia).   The mission was failing miserably until I came across this product.

It actually works in the complete opposite way of Lipcote but achieves the same result - longer lasting lippy.  Lip Plump is a primer,  it builds up the contour of your lips, which helps your lip stick to last longer.

The beautician applied this then some lippy at around 4 yesterday afternoon, by the time I got home at
6 my lips were still quite vibrant.

benefit  Lip Stick

benefit lipsticks are my absolute favourite, on this occasion I opted for this bright red shade which is beautifully named 'Frenched' No 69  ;-)

Brow Zings

This is a brow shaping kit and until I tried this yesterday had never used it before nor heard of it, though  I was in desperate need of something that may help.
The packaging is really cute it comes in a little black square box with "benefit' and 'brow zings' holographed all over the lid.
When you open it up you see the pigmented wax for shaping, natural-shaded powder for setting, a teeny tiny tweezers, hard angle brush, blending brush and the mirror.  I need the 'light' which is the closest shade to my natural hair colour.

I like the fact that it came with a little leaflet lesson inside - thank goodness because what she told me went in one ear and out the other.   Too many goodies to distract me.

Talking of goodies..  Let me introduce you to

**Limited Edition** FINDING MR BRIGHT

I have to tell you now that it was the packaging that sparked my attention here.  The caption just made me want to pick it up and have a look inside.

This is a box of your favourite brightening products but in miniature  - which is fabulous.  If you are like me and haven't tried every product in the box it is a great sampler.

The box includes a little mirror and:

Mini High Beam
Which I do own already but running low

 Erase Paste
I had never used this before until this morning - I have to say I have fallen in love with it already, morning bags?  What .. where?  Not with this little tub of magic!

Posie Tint
Lip and Cheek Stain, this is also in a cute little bottle.  On first glance I think it may be a little too light of a pink for me, I prefer a darker stain for my lips and cheeks, but I am going to give it a whirl.

Girl Meets Pearl
I had never worn this before today, I normally wear the Skin tone Illuminator by Estée Lauder, however, it glided over the skin leaving it looking radiant and I absolutely adore the smell.  I think I will be investing in the full size version of this.  Plus the packaging again is a real selling point.

I know it sounds pathetic but i'm a sucker for something that looks quirky or cute.  It has me sold before I even know exactly what it is.

The benefit range never fails to grab my attention when I am walking past, they know exactly how to market their brands just brilliantly.

Well hope you enjoyed my wee benefit haul..

Please let me know what you think of these products. Have you tried them before? Do you know of other products that would compliment these?

I am planning to do my first ever Vlog on these products .... I say planning because it is dependent on whether or not I ever get the courage to do so lol... yikes!

Love Lx
