10 tips to survive the post holiday return to work blues...

I hope you had a lovely holiday.   If you have been lucky enough like me to have had an extended break this year, the thought of returning to reality is a bit depressing.  I have put together a list of things to help get you through the rest of the week.  Simply follow these simple steps.  Pamper, Pamper Pamper..

1.  Face Mask - dig your favourite face mask out and stick it on.

2.  Run yourself a bubble bath with your favourite scent.

3.  Treat your hair - run a treatment through your hair.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette Review

Happy New Year!

A colleague of mine surprised me this Christmas with this beautiful Palette.  Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay teaming up to produce such a spectacular eyeshadow palette, truly genius - incorporating Gwen's edgy style and beauty.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Pallete

The packaging is solid with a rocky style.  Inside hosts a great sized mirror and 15 beautiful eyeshadows.  The first two rows are definitely right up my street with a combination of smoky and neutral tones with a bit of bling in there for good measure.  The bottom line is slightly riskier, I probably wouldn't use these but only down to that being personal taste. I am sure they would be fun to play about with.

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover

I don't know about you, but removing my makeup at the end of the day is always a chore at the best of times, even worse if you are travelling and want a fresh up. However, recently I came across Urban Decay's Meltdown Makeup Remover.   This little power tool is perfect when you are at home or on the go.

After a long flight, I usually want to re do my make up.   'Meltdown Make up' is great.  This handbag ready, lightweight creamy gel breaks down your makeup fast but gently.   No fuss, no mess - and no rinsing!  Makeup wipes can leave your face feeling a little greasy but this product doesn't.

You can purchase this directly from Urban Decay but is available online from the likes of Feel Unique, Beauty Bay and House of Fraser and will cost you a respectable £18.

Charlotte Tilbury K.i.s.s.i.n.g Lipstick - Bitch Perfect Giveaway

Kissing Lipstick

I treated myself to this Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the shade 'Bitch Perfect' whilst visiting in Birmingham last month.  This lipstick is incredibly moisturising and the colour is long lasting.  I thought I would treat one of my readers to its beauty too.

Glossybox May

Glossybox May
I am really impressed with Glossy Box May.  I am particularly intrigued by the 'Towel Off' Shampoo Foam.  I am used to Dry Shampoos but this product has really captured my attention.  You apparently pump the foam in your hand massage it into your hair and use a Towel to work it through.  It smells divine and I can't wait to give it a go tomorrow.

Soap & Glory - 'One heck of a BLOT'

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot

Over the past year or so, I have much preferred to wear less powder.  I have found though, since returning to an office environment, whether it has something to do with the air conditioning and lack of fresh air by afternoon, the oils are oozing from my pores - eurgh, exactly!

Origins Clear Improvements Charcoal Mask

Everyone deserves a clear skin, it's just some of us have to try a little harder than others.  Although I cleanse daily, I have neglected my skin lately due to being a little run down and a little stressed out.  Haven't exfoliated or anything in ages.  I decided enough was enough and last night I took half and hour out for some 'me time'.
